Maintenance for the opening of the Tourist Information Office at its residence. The office was open during all week-ends from September to June, while in Summer it was open everyday. Since 2006, in Summer, the Tourist Information Office was handled by APT (Tourist Promotion)
• Handling of some celebrations with the collaboration of the town council, the historical group, Natural Trading Centre Vivicentro, Slow Food in : Carnival celebration for adults and children, Festa del Bambino (Feast of the Child), Medievalis (Medieval Feast), Festa del Gusto (Feast of Taste), Castagnata (chestnuts feasts) and Christmas celebratrions and lightning, Epiphany, French Way Watch, Feast of the Easter Egg
• Publishing of celebrations calendar made with istitutions, voluntary associations and some private associations
• Participation to the provincial feast of Tourist Boards.
• Ancient and handicraft markets in the historical centre every third Sunday of the month and flea markets every first Sunday of the month.
• Supply of Award cups for some celebrations to the requiring associations
The council has also achieved some new works planned at the beginning of the task, such as:
• The purchase of a new stage and 170 chairs for shows, for a regional announcement with a contribution of € 7500. This purchase is a contribution in a unique solution to the works of many associations and a valid help and an incentive to the creation of shows even for entertaining the tourists .
Unfortunately, this huge charge didn’t allow us to give other contributes to the associations. The new stage had been purchased because, according to the supplying firm statements, its assembly had to be limited to half a day. In this way, the Saturday market wouldn’t have been cancelled, but this was not possible because the assembly took more days for the staging and for its designing.
• Course for the training of seven voluntary tourist guides, currently working for tourists groups;
• Printing a municipal tourist map;
• Set up of the historical group. The members of the tourist board council are among promoters for Confesercenti and Terre di Luna (group of dance);
• Participation to the foundation of Vivicentro ( natural trading centre)
• Purchase of a sound equipment, with the cost of € 1200;
• Joining the initiative Cammini d’Europa (French Way celebrations);
• Certificate and course HCCP for those attending Chestnut feast and form of self-control plan;
• Sponsorship for barman course in November 2008
